Did you know that there are easy to use and FREE apps that can help create a budget? One app that I recommend is EveryDollar. It's a great way to tell "every dollar" of your paycheck where to go, so it doesn't tell you where it's going.
My husband and I use YNAB (You Need A Budget) because trust me, we did and still DO need a budget.
At the end of each month, we go over what went well and what we need to pay attention to in terms of our spending for the next month. We find that we are able to plan to be generous during these budget meetings by deciding where our money is going vs. letting our money tell us where it's going.
There are many ways to be generous. From buying someone else's coffee to sponsoring a local family in need.
